It is a small command line utility that is supported on multiple platforms (Windows, MacOS X, and Linux). iPerf can be used for: Testing the throughput between two systems Troubleshoot network performance problems Verify bandwidth usage WebSo I used iperf3 to test the actual throughput between my PC and the server. The results were somewhat surprising. At first I didn't know that iperf3 was available for windows (I used apt to install it on my Ubuntu servers). So I installed a VM via hyper-v on my main PC (I later used iperf via PowerShell on my Windows PC).
